The Pylean Language

While the majority of Pylean words are not that different from English, the phrasings are more what we would consider Old English. This is mainly because Pylea is a fairly primitive culture but may also be part of a deliberate plan on the part of the priests to keep the civilization primitive despite their obvious access to modern technology in the form of the collars used on the humans. Inflection is also very important, as a mis-pronounced word can greatly alter meaning. The spoken language is also much easier to deal with than the written word, which is generally speaking lacking in vowels.
