“Electroshock.” Spike shuddered delicately.
“You tortured people with railroad spikes, and a little electricity turns your stomach?” Ethan sipped his beer. “Poof.”
Spike opened his mouth to protest, then stopped. Shouldn’t trifle with a wizard who can pull a ghost to himself right through Wolfram & Hart’s wards.
“They drug your food?” he asked instead, looking longingly at the beer.
“Oh, of course. But I doubt they got much out of me- I’ve conditioned myself to speak only crypto-Kal’rykan under duress.”
Smug bastard. “Give you any implants?”
The wizard smirked. “I’ll show you my scars if you’ll show me yours…”
