A day in the life of Amy the rat
Where does Willow go so many times a day? Amy looks around the room, view obstructed by thin bars. She expects to see cups littering the room, it must be the restroom that Willow runs to so often, but there’s nothing. No clues left in view.
Amy’s food tray is filled, cage clean, water clear and cold. Dozens of times a day hands enter her space, promises that it won’t be long now. Willow’s hair grows and grows, Oz comes and goes several times. Willow laughs, Willow cries.
Amy sleeps. Willow will save her tomorrow, when she’s not so busy.
