Beta Readers

Here are several very helpful people who will help you edit your fiction, they will catch errors, give plot ideas, check canon, pat you on the back and possibly spank you when you are naughty. A Beta can be the most important relationship of your writing career, this is a good thing. Go pick one now, I promise you'll be the better for it.

Anything you won't read: Snuff!!!! and not a big fan of rape, depends on whether it is part of plot or just too sick--- use discretion. Truthfully the only thing I won't read is Snuff. It makes me sick---- really graphic torture and bloodplay can be included with snuff, please use discretion. I'd list it all but I'm sure you'd be able to think of something not on my list.
Expected Turn around: I'm a college student:english major, a creative writer, and I've got a social life, it may take a while but it'll be worth it.
Strengths: Plot, Structure, etc---- basically everything that is not grammar and spelling related!, Cannot help you there! I use an editor myself.

Favorite pairing: this is difficult, probably Spike with someone, but the who depends very much on the story and how believable it is. I am also quite happy to see other pairings depending on the story line.
Will you read slash: I would read slash and there is little that I won't read, so long as the story is interesting.
Expected turnaround: depends on the length, but most times, would be within a week.
Strengths: is a difficult one, I guess English is one, I know the Jossverse quite well and can usually pick up holes.

However, I have not watched much of the show--WB comes in very badly, and we don't get UPN at all. So I'll be useless as far as fitting things into the show's timeline. However, I've been reading fan-fiction in this verse for several years, and have read way too many episode summaries.
